STEP 1: CONTACT CHANCE RECOVERY FOR ELIGIBILITY QUESTIONS AND AN APPLICATION:

STEP 2: FILL OUT AN APPLICATION

If you are eligible, Holly at Chance will give you an application to fill out.

STEP 3: INTERVIEW:

Once we receive your completed application, we will schedule an interview with you to see if you would be a good fit for our program.

If you are chosen to participate in the program, we will notify you!  If no homes are available when you apply, you will be placed on a waiting list and will be notified for an interview when a house becomes available.

 

STEP 4: COMPLETE 4 FINANCIAL COACHING SESSIONS WITH YOUR PEER SUPPORT MENTOR:

If your first interview proves that you are a good candidate for participating in our program, you will begin your financial coaching sessions.  You must attend and complete 4 sessions before you will be scheduled for your second interview. In order for your financial coaching sessions to count toward your 4 requirement, you must come on time with your assigned homework completed.

STEP 5: SECOND INTERVIEW:

If you complete your financial coaching sessions successfully, you will be invited to a second interview where we will discuss any further questions that have come up in the 4 financial coaching sessions.  If a drug test has not been conducted already, it will need to be done at this time.

STEP 6: NOTIFIED OF DECLINE OR ACCEPTANCE INTO THE SPARROW PROGRAM:

The Sparrow team will meet after your second interview to discuss whether you have successfully completed the steps and should be admitted into the Sparrow Program.  While we desire to help everyone who needs it, if we discover a family will not commit to the change process as we offer it, they will not be helped by coming into our program.  Because of this, you may be declined at any time in this process, but our hope is that we can accept you and start the wonderful, challenging process of change!
